After years of sacrifice to earn his medical degree, Doctor Jim Baker has finally achieved the lifestyle most only dream of. His new life, in an upscale normally crime-free Chicago suburb, is not the only one that is suddenly ripped apart by a series of unexplainable murders. The wives of the group of top local plastic surgeons he joined are being found systematically murdered in their locked homes with alarms set and no apparent clues or motives. The final, peaceful, trauma-free expression left on their faces leave the local, city and federal authorities baffled and clueless as to the cause of death. No progress is made in any of the cases until investigators start accepting clues from some very unusual sources.
