February is American Heart Month. On the first Friday of every February the nation goes red to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease.

Did you know? Heart disease and stroke kill one in three women. To raise awareness the American Heart Association started National Wear Red Day to save women’s lives, as 80% of the deaths are preventable.
